To connect or to control ubuntu desktop from windows follow the steps.
Step 1:.a)Download tight VNC server to your ubuntu (for help visit www.appnr.com for download)
B) open System-> Preferences-> Remote Desktop
c) enable the check box allow others to view your desk top(want password giveit)
Step 2:. download vnc viewer(zip file .not to install)
open the zip file double click the vnc viewer .exe it will ask the IP address of the ubuntu machine which u want to connect and password given in vnc server.
